The rubbery cushion between the vertebrae or the bones that stack to create the spine is known as herniated disk. The core part is soft and jelly like and this is covered by a hard part known as annulus. The problems with this disk are showed up with arm and leg pain, painful thigh, buttock, calf and painful lower back. The tingling sensation and numbness are also common symptoms along with muscle weakness.
