Consider eating fresh cucumbers or berries, if plain water is making you bored. You may also try green or black tea as they have powerful anti-inflammatory effects.

Keep Active by Moving Indoors

Exercise prevents pain with arthritis, during the cold weather. Some of the exercises you can practice indoors are:

  • Riding a stationary bike

  • Taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

  • Indoor walking

  • Aerobics or yoga class with minimal impact

  • Running

  • Swimming in an indoor swimming pool
