When your muscles get irritated by how you sleep, they can get swell and cause acute pain. The pain makes it difficult for you to turn your head side-by-side.

It should be helpful for some days to take rest and get cured. Yet otherwise, you can also ask your doctor for stretching exercises and physical therapy.

It is advised to go for supportive sleep position to prevent this type of accident from occurring again. It's better if you sleep on a well-formed, good support pillow on your back or your stomach with your hair.

But just everyone cannot get out of the sofa to go on a marathon, you couldn't go out and work 6 hours to clean the gutters if you are not habituated with it. It is recommended that you take a break to change position while doing so and stretch or turn your neck or shoulders rather than staying in a position the whole time.

  • Playing with Children

If you have a child, neck and back pain are common for you. Sometimes, playing with your kids becomes one of the major causes of back and neck pain. The better way to play is to bend your knees to the right position to lift your kid. It's the perfect set-up to avoid an injury.
